I have always wanted to do a boudoir maternity session but I have never had the opportunity until now. I couldn’t have had a better model for my first time doing a boudoir maternity session. Miss S was stunning. She does pregnancy very well. Here is a little glimpse of our session. Thanks Miss S for this opportunity. The session was tons of fun!
Miss Z is so beautiful. She loved taking pictures and was an excellent little model. I love the one year session because I usually do a “Bash the Cake” session with it. There is nothing better than a child’s messy face.

This was a last minute session with the R family. I’m so glad that I was able to make it work out because they were so adorable and fun to take pictures of. What a beautiful prego Mommy. I have always wanted to do pictures with the mustard fields and never do. This is my very first session with the mustard fields. I think I’m going to do them more often now. Thanks R family for allowing me to capture your family pictures for you.
Mr. C was so TINY. It was so much fun having such a tiny, wrinkled, and curly little guy to photograph. He was great. I messed with him so much and he was such a trooper. Thanks B family for choosing Misty’s Portraits to capture you special moments. 
My blossom this year turned into a fundraiser for a dear friend of mine who lost her daughter. She is always doing things in honor of her daughter, Trinity. This year I was a part of her endeavors. The sitting fee for the blossom sessions was given to CRC, Children’s Recovery Center. I am so excited that I was able to be a part of it. Thanks to those who participated.

can’t believe that Miss J is one already. It seems like just yesterday that I took her newborn pictures. One of the best things about my job as a photographer is the ability to watch children grow up and capture those memories for the families.
This was a fun session. Miss J did such a great job! I can’t wait for our next session. =)

Anyone who knows me also know about my love hate relationship with weddings. Weddings are beautiful to photograph but as a photographer they are SO much work. The night before this wedding I drove from Stockton to LA with my daughter throwing up along the way. She was up all night throwing up and then I had a wedding to take pictures of the next day. I was exhausted before the wedding even started. I am so thankful for my hubby who stepped in and help out a TON.
I loved everything about this wedding from the location, LA, the bright colors, and the fact that it was my nieces wedding. It was indeed a special day. I am honored that she asked me to take the pictures during her special day.
I have a few favorite shots from this wedding but my ultimate favorite is the one where my brother is kissing my nieces head. I was so excited to capture that moment between my brother and his daughter.
I don’t do very many weddings, by my choice, but just had to share this one because it was so special to me. I love you Britney & David!
